Boulder Tri Series

PRO INFO:

Boulder Peak Triathlon:

The Boulder Peak Triathlon Pro Challenge on July 11, 2010 at the Boulder Reservoir will, once again, award prize money in the amount of $35,000! As we have in the past, the women will begin the race with a handicapped head start over the men. The women will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the men will follow 14-16 minutes later. There will be a bonus prime of $1,000 for the first pro across the finish line. The prize money will be awarded to the men and women (equally) as follows:

  • 1st Place $6,000
  • 2nd Place $4,500
  • 3rd Place $3,000
  • 4th Place $2,000
  • 5th Place $1,000

There will also be a $250 prime for the first man and woman out of the water, and a $250 prime to the first man and woman to the top of Old Stage Hill on the bike course. The 10K run is a special 3-loop course, with each loop returning near the finish line. This affords athletes a good look at their competition, is more media friendly, and is definitely a crowd please.
